Alachua Audubon Society (AAS) is an official chapter of National Audubon and Audubon Florida.
The Alachua Audubon Society’s mission is to foster appreciation and knowledge of birds and other native wildlife, to protect and restore wildlife populations and their habitats, and to promote sustainable use of natural resources.

You might be able to find help on the Birding and Wildlife page of our web site. Look under the Local Birding and Natural History/Birding and Wildlife Links tab in the menu at the top of this page.
There you will find links to organizations that will help you identify birds in your backyard as well as how to best maintain your feeders and yard for attracting birds.
