Santa Fe College Birding Classes

Santa Fe College Community Education, in partnership with Alachua Audubon, offers beginning birding courses during the Fall, Winter and Spring college terms. Each course consists of four sequential Saturday morning field trips to local birding areas, guided by local birding experts. Field trips begin at 8:30 am and last for 2-2.5 hours. Prior experience is not necessary, but you must bring binoculars. Course information can be found under the Community Education banner at the Santa Fe College website sfcollege.edu.

Registration opens January 8th for the 2024 Winter and Spring Birding Class.

To register, call (352) 395-5193 or go online to SFC Community Education, click on “Register here”, and then check the box for “Outdoor Adventures” or type ‘bird’ into the search box.  Now you have the option to choose our Birding Class. Course fee: $49.

These courses continue to receive great reviews.  Limit 12 students (minimum age 18) so be sure to register early.  Hope to see you in class!
