AAS received the Best Chapter Award for a chapter with > 500 members at the Audubon FL Assembly on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Felicia and I accepted the award on behalf of the entire board. AAS received this award because of the many innovative and effective programs – new internships and scholarships, Zen Birding, Birds and Brews, partnership with Sweetwater, bird storytelling, and the list goes on – that our dynamic, energized, and committed Board of Directors have embraced. Thank you all for contributing to make AAS the best large Audubon Chapter in Florida!
