Hello, I’m not sure which local chapter I belong to, it might be Duval. I moved here 6 months ago and would like to join the Alachua chapter, but I may have already done it. Would you be able to check? It might be under my old name Sargent as well.
Thank you,
Julia Harmuth fka Sargent

Last year I started watching birds. I am retired so have the time. I missed Spring of last year but started during the summer. I had plenty of birds coming through summer and Winter. It’s Spring and I’m seeing only a few birds. I expected a lot of birds but very few. Is there a reason for this? Does it have to do the nesting season? I live a block or so from Kanapaha Prairie so logically there would be a lot of birds. I also plan to look at the membership. It’s only $15.00.

Hi!
I just joined the Alachua Audubon Chapter. May I join the Birds and Brew today? If yes, do I have to print out my receipt?
Thank you and looking forward!

No need to print out your receipt. Members and non-members are both welcome. Just show up, get some loaner binoculars from us if you don’t have your own, and join our walk. We look forward to seeing you there!

No, we won’t be selling Christmas Trees, but you can visit one of our sponsors, BK Cedars and purchase a living tree. Their web site is https://www.bkcedars.com

I’m a member of national Audubon. Can I receive your email newsletter please?

That should be automatic. We’ll look into it.

Charlene, have you received any issues of our email newsletter? I just saw your message here on our website from last November. I don’t believe I was notified, or recall if I was. Please let me know so I can look into it. Would the membership be under your name alone?
Thanks,
Karen Brown
