Santa Fe College Birding Classes

Santa Fe College and Alachua Audubon Society jointly offer beginning birding courses during the Fall, Winter and Spring college terms.  Each course consists of four sequential Saturday morning field trips to local birding areas, led by experienced birders.  Prior experience is not necessary, but you must bring binoculars.  Course information can be found under the Community Education banner at the Santa Fe College website sfcollege.edu.

Registration has opened for the Winter 2022 Alachua Audubon and Santa Fe College Community Education Birding Class. Skilled and experienced Alachua Audubon birders will once again lead the program that is held each Saturday morning for four consecutive weeks in November.

The schedule and registration form are available through Santa Fe College at this link: SFC course registration

Generally offered for Fall, Winter and Spring semesters, registration is through SFC. To register, call (352) 395-5193 or go online to SFC Community Education, click on “Register here”, and then check the box for “Outdoor Adventures”.  Now you have the option to choose our Birding Class.

These courses continue to receive great reviews.  Limit 12 students (minimum age 18) so be sure to register early.  Hope to see you in class!
